COUNCIL OF MINISTERS DELIBERATE FIVE PROPOSAL PRESENTED BY THE MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday deliberated on five (5) projects presented by the Minister of Public Works, Samuel Marçal at the Government Palace, the meeting itself was led by Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, at the Government Palace .

The projects presented by the Minister of Public Works, Samuel Marçal, the Council of Ministers decided to obtain authorization to make expenditures are;

· Authorize expenditure for the construction of a six-storey office building for the Ministry of Public Works, and a one-storey building near the Civil Engineering Laboratory, at a cost of about US$20 million.

· Authorize expenditure for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the road section between Seloi, Aileu and Gleno, Ermera, with a length of 18 thousand km, with a work value of 15.97 million US dollars.

· Authorize expenditure for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the road section between Lospalos and Lautein, with a length of 27,980 km, with a work value of US$22.7 million.

· Authorize expenditure for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the road section between Lautein and Kom, with a length of 19,760 km, with a work value of US$13.8 million.

· Authorizes expenditure for the rehabilitation and maintenance of the road section between the intersection of Letefoho and Gleno, with a length of 24,140 km, with a work value of US$45 million.*
